Independent, Finance-Driven Feasibility Analysis

Wert-Berater, Inc. provides bankable feasibility studies for projects where financing approval, regulatory compliance, and capital risk are material considerations. Our work is relied upon by lenders, agencies, and institutional decision-makers evaluating complex, capital-intensive projects.

Our experience includes feasibility analysis prepared for SBA, USDA, EB-5, private and Institutional including family offices, pension funds and tribal financing environments, as well as lender and institutional review across commercial real estate, energy, manufacturing, and agricultural projects.

We focus on delivering defensible, underwriting-credible analysis — not promotional reports or low-cost studies — so decision-makers can allocate capital with confidence.

Our work enhances underwriting credibility with defensible assumptions, comprehensive scenario analysis, and transparent methodology — designed to integrate seamlessly into Investment Bank diligence processes.

Wert-Berater, Inc. is led by Donald Joseph Safranek, whose professional background combines institutional finance, economics, law, and global asset underwriting.

Mr. Safranek holds dual graduate degrees from the London School of Economics, including an MSc in Economics and an LLB in Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Economics from Rollins College. His academic training is complemented by extensive, hands-on experience in institutional asset management and risk evaluation.

His professional foundation was established at Lehman Brothers, where he began in asset management and advanced into roles involving the underwriting and management of a $700 million real estate equity investment portfolio. This work involved institutional risk modeling, structured equity investments, and disciplined capital deployment — forming the analytical framework that underpins Wert-Berater’s feasibility methodology.

Mr. Safranek later held senior asset management and underwriting roles with Hatfield Philips, Inc., a division of Lehman Brothers, leading risk assessment, asset repositioning, and capital strategy across residential, hospitality, commercial, industrial, energy, and infrastructure assets in Europe, the Middle East, the Americas, and the Caribbean.

This institutional, hands-on experience directly informs Wert-Berater’s feasibility studies, valuation methodologies, market analyses, and underwriting frameworks. The firm specializes in producing independent, bankable feasibility studies and third-party reports that meet the requirements of SBA and USDA Rural Development lending programs, including compliance with SBA SOP 50 10 8 and USDA RD Staff Instruction 5001.
